Shrimp Cocktail With a Twist!

A wonderfully modern & simple twist on a delicious classic!

Shrimp Cocktail Baguette Ingredients

7 ounces (or approx 200g) cooked & peeled shrimp
2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad cream
1 fresh baguette, cut into four even pieces
1 large avocado, mashed
1 baby lettuce, leaves removed, rinsed & shredded
salt & pepper (freshly ground is best), to taste

Shrimp Cocktail Baguette Directions

Cut each piece of the lovely fresh baguette in half lengthways.
Spread the mashed avocado over the base of each baguette.
Add shredded lettuce to the top of the avocado.
Arrange shrimp on top of the shredded lettuce.
Drizzle mayonnaise or salad cream on top of the shrimp, and season with salt & pepper to taste.
