Shrimp Pasta Recipe Ingredients
¼ cup olive oil
1 pkg angel hair pasta (8 oz)
1 tbs garlic, chopped
1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
1 can Italian diced tomatoes (28 oz)
½ cup white wine
¼ cup parsley, chopped
3 tbs fresh basil, chopped
4 tbs Parmesan cheese, grated
Shrimp Pasta Recipe Directions
In a large pot, cook pasta in water until tender.
Drain pasta and set aside.
Saute garlic in olive oil until softened, in a large skillet or frying pan.
Add shrimp and cook until shrimp is pink, about 4 minutes.
Remove the shrimp from the oil and set aside.
Add tomatoes, wine and herbs to the garlic oil in the pan.
Simmer over low heat until its reduced by half.
Add shrimp and keep heating until the shrimp are warmed through again.
Serve shrimp and tomatoes over pasta.
Top with a sprinkling of cheese.
